Review: REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask

Hey girls, me again! ..With REN, again! If you saw my previous post, you'll know that it was all about another of REN's amazing face masks (Radiance Renewal*) which is targeted towards dull or scarred skin and is based with fruit enzymes to give the skin a gentle but effective chemical exfoliation, breaking down and then resurfacing the top layer of skin. To read more on this mask and see my post on it you can click here.

After falling in love with the Radiance Renewal mask I decided to purchase an equally loved mask from REN to continue my mission to 'get perfect skin' and it wasn't long before the Invisible Pores Detox Mask had wormed it's way into my regular skincare routine and is edging it's way towards the top spot of all time favourite products. I ordered mine from lookfantasic.com whilst they had a cheeky 20% off, but you can find the mask on their site here for a full price of £16.20, instead of £18.00 from the REN site.

The Invisible Pores mask could not be more different from the Radiance Renewal mask in terms of texture, function, active ingredients and effects on the skin, however they do look lovely in the bathroom lined up next to each other with their identical, simple packaging with a clean design and effective pump dispenser; the bottles are differentiated by their strips of colour: bright orange for RR, and pistachio green for IP, which also coincides with the colour of the product inside too. Is it sad that I enjoy this simple fact?

Again, REN keeps up the good work with their 'clean skincare' and there's no nasty stuff in these products that will do any harm to your skin, and you can see on the image below that there is lovely extra detailing on the box - packaging can make a difference, as superficial as that is!

Invisible Pores (also known as Minimising Pores) is a clay based mask that is aimed at congested oily skin to give it a really good deep clean and detox by using the French Clay to draw out all of the impurities from deep within the pores and remove any excess sebum that can clog things up and cause blackheads and spots. It doesn't just stop there though, as this mask also contains proteins from Spirulina (that's some kind of a fancy tropical seaweed, you know, just incase you didn't know or anything..) that 'encourages cell renewal while reducing pore size, leaving your skin smooth, toned and decongested'. Wow REN, you really do you know to work wonders don't you!

REN advises you to apply this generously over clean skin, but naturally the thicker layer of product you apply, the longer it takes to dry, and as you remove this in a slighly different way - by rubbing away the dry clay with your fingers to gives a gentle exfoliating effect - it means that you can't remove it until it has dried. I apply quite a thin layer over my nose, a little bit of my cheeks and my chin because they are the area that I suffer with blocked up pores and blackheads, and I usually leave around 15 minutes before removing.

I was quite surprised with the consistency of this mask the first time that I used it as when it comes out of the pump it feels really creamy and soft, kind of like a thick moisturiser. It's cooling on the skin which is loving and refreshing, but it also feels calming and relaxing because of the lavender oil - such a lovely treat! As it is a clay mask, it does of course dry onto the skin and you get the hard plastered and cracking scary looking face when you can't move a muscle or change your facial expression! What I really love about this is that there is zero irritation to the skin, it's really gentle and after removal always makes my skin look less red and angry; it's always clean, calmed and refreshed.

Does it work at improving the skin? Well, like I've just said it is a lovely treat and a pleasure to use; if things are looking a little bit chaotic on the skin then it's a great way to just calm things down, if there's a break out then it helps to stop it looking so angry, and looking across the clogged up areas on my T-zone they do always look like they've had a good little extraction after using this, of course helping to make them look minimised. I don't think it's a miracle product that you can just use and you'll have no blackheads anymore - I don't think there's anything that will ever do that?.. but it could be a working progress towards slowly improving them and definitely giving them a minimised appearance.

REN also advises to use the Radiance Renewal mask and the Invisibles Pores mask in conjunction with each other; using RR first and IP the following day, to be able to gain maximum impacts from both products. So these make for my perfect weekend duo, Radiance Renewal on Saturday to get that top layer of skin broken down and exfoliated away, and then Invisible Pores on the Sunday to give my skin a really good detox and clear out anything that's blocked deep down in those pores! These make for a great skincare pair!

If you want to read more about what I had to say on the REN Radiance Renewal mask, you can see my post on it here, and if you're interested in this Invisible Pores mask yourself then here is a link to where you can buy it: link.

Review: REN Radiance Renewal Mask

A good couple of weeks ago, the lovely people over at Cult Beauty got in touch with me and asked if I'd like to test out any of the products that they stock - If the name doesn't give it away already, Cult Beauty are retailers for only 'the best of the best' in terms of beauty products and sell only those that deserve cult status. It's a site I could browse for hours! (Honestly, I want it all!). If you want to browse the site yourselves then you can find it hereAnyway, when I told them that I was looking for anything that could help with skin rejuvenation and the scarring issues on my face, I was very kindly offered a bottle of REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask*, a product I'd had my eye on for a very long time as I'd heard brilliant things about it from other bloggers!

Soo.. 'What's a Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask'? I can hear some of you asking yourselves right now. Well, let me run you through it. This potent mask is one of REN's top selling products and is made with around 5-6.5% Glycolactic acid, an effective chemical exfoliator that 'actively dissolves the bonds that hold skin build-up'. All skin needs a little prepping up from time to time and can become a little bit congested, so this mask works fantastically well at exfoliating away all of the dirt from the surface of the skin and the AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) that it contains resurface the top layer of the skin which visibly improves the appearance.

I hope I'm not losing you with this one! It sounds fancy, and it is pretty fancy.. but oh so simple all at the same time. REN keep things clean, hence the branding 'clean skincare', and have kept their products free from all those nasties such as parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, fragrances, etc. All that does the work with this is the active element of a 100% pure fruit acid complex - lactic, glycolic, tartaric, citric, papain enzyme, pineapple extract, omega 3 - that gently targets dull and congested skin (these are what gives it it's yummy fruity scent too). The ingredients break down the dead cells and the outcome is a bright, new complexion! Ideal for targetting: fine lines, acne scarring, blemishes and blackheads.

Does it work? Yes. Can I just leave it at that?.. Yes, it does work! The first time I used this I was expecting to be blown away because of the hype, and I felt a little bit underwhelmed because I didn't see any immediate results. But as I persevered and continued to use this 1-2 times a week I noticed more and more improvement to my skin, both long term and short term. The long term effects are that scarring and blackheads are gradually diminishing and fading away to become less prominent, and the short term effects are the super intense exfoliation and 'glowing' effect that it gives to the skin as all the dullness on the top layer has been dissolved away. Such a lovely pick me up for an instant burst of radiance!

Just one pump is enough to cover the entire face in a thick even layer - I was using more than this at first but I'm not sure how I thought that this was okay, because the image below shows how much product comes out with just one pump! There's plenty to go around with that amount, silly me for being wasteful with it at first :( The consistency is very sticky and gooey and it has the similar texture to honey, or jam.. something you'd spread on your toast! It's quite thick but it isn't hard to work with or spread around the skin, and it's good that it's sticky as it helps it to adhere to your face better and doesn't go sliding down your neck and onto your clothes (do watch out for stray hairs getting glued to your face though!). The mask isn't clay based so it won't set or go hard on the skin; it stays like goo for the whole time it's on your face.

The process is very simple: apply the mask all over clean, dry skin and leave it for 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes is up run the enclosed muslin cloth underneath warm water and use it to clear the mask from your skin and voila! Fresh skin. A little word of warning: even though it is very gentle, this mask isn't suitable for those who have very sensitive skin. Mine can be just a little bit sensitive and I've found that if I exceed the recommended time to have it on my skin then there is quite a strong tingling sensation and my face is a little bit red after use although this quickly dies down and I look radiant, not flushed!

It's not a lie that I was very, very impressed with this product (and the brand REN in general), and the proof is in the further purchases! About two weeks after using this mask I knew that I loved it and wanted to branch out and try more from the brand. I've since bought the 'Invisible Pores Detox Mask' that I will be reviewing in a couple of days, and also the 'Clearcalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser' that is in the post on it's way to me as I write!
REN, I love you.

Review: Soap and Glory 'Scrub Your Nose In It'

Hello lovely ladies. I've been barely blogging at all this month, definitely just not been 'feeling it' and I don't know what's wrong with me? Where's the passion gone?! Even though I have a list on my phone of at least 40 things that I want to talk about I've just struggled to find the motivation to get my camera out, take snaps of a product, upload them and then string a sentence together to rave about it - serious case of writers block! And also, Twitter's been bitchy on the whole #bbloggers front recently and I've just been put off so have taken a back seat with tweeting and 'promoting' myself on there - get rid of the negativity girls it's not good for anyone!

After spotting today that somebody else I know has started up their own blog (her blog is x-rachaels-way-x.blogspot.co.uk - take a look and go follow it, I'm sure she's going to be absolutely amazing!), it gave me a little kick up the bum to get back into it so I'm coming to you today with a review of Soap and Glory's 'Scrub Your Nose In It'.

Scrub Your Nose It In is the first of Soap and Glory's skincare that I had tried and I love it. It is available in one size only; 125ml and costs £7.50 and can be found in Boots in store and online (link). This is a multi-use product and can be used as an exfoliating scrub and also as a deep pore cleansing mask too. I use this once a week and make use of both of it's functions when I use it - first I use it as an exfoliator predominately around my nose, a little bit across my cheeks and then my chin too, I give it a good scrub and then rise it away with warm water. Then, straight afterwards I apply a fresh dollop all over my face in quite a thin layer and leave this on for a couple of minutes for the clay mask action to take place and then rinse away, scrubbing gently as I rinse to reveal fresher and glowing looking skin.

This gives the skin a mild tingle and a cooling sensation when applied and smells very minty but does not irritate at all. The exfoliating grains within this scrub as so teeny tiny they are hardly visible and are so gentle on the skin, not rough or scratchy at all but can definitely be felt and give the skin a really good scrub, clearing out your clogged up pores. I love using this as my skin always looks just that little bit brighter and smoother after use as the dead skin cells have been buffed away (nice) and all that dirt deep down in your pores has been shifted away. It's a really simple and easy product to use with only a teeny tiny amount being needed each time as just a thin layer on the skin is necessary and £7.50 is a great price for a 2-in-1 product.

One last thing, I've had my blog completely redesigned over the past few days by Becky from Beauty Becky and I love it. I just wanted a change as I was bored of looking at the same set up for the past 6 months and wanted a new colour scheme and just a bit of a freshen up really. She was so helpful and so accommodating to all of my requests; she listened to exactly what I was after and made all of the tiny adjustments that I asked for without any hassle at all!
I recommend that you all follow the link above to Becky's blog, have a read, follow her too and if you're interested in a spruce up for your design then she's one to go for!

Love Lettuce | Lush Fresh Face Mask

Hello hello hello.
I hope you have all enjoyed your first couple of days of 2013!

Towards the end of November and all the way through December my blog ended up being about 95% lifestyle orientated following a weekend in Liverpool, my birthday, Christmas, anniversary, new year, and the only posts featured inbetween were hauls, as I can't seem to shop for others without shopping for myself! Looking back I realise that I massively miss doing all my beauty features and reviews and absolutely cannot wait to start posting up some more product reviews - I have a list as long as my arm of things that I want to talk about, starting right now with Love Lettuce.

Love Lettuce is a fresh face mask that was part of my 'Great Big Box of Lush Goodies' (see the haul post here: link) that I ordered online at the beginning of December and these face masks cost £5.95 for 75g of product. I love how these are kept in the fridge to add extra refreshment and a cooling sensation to the face when they are applied, and the smell of this mask isn't overpowering as the only detectable scent is lavendar which is only faint, but is still very calming and relaxing ..although I have no idea why this is called 'Love Lettuce' when there is no lettuce mentioned at all on the ingredients list - curious?

This one includes an almost perfect combination of ingredients and multi-tasks to provide multiple benefits to the skin; firstly, all of the ingredients are natural and Lush products contain no chemicals which of course is good for the skin, then the clay aspects of this mask draw out of the impurities and the tiny almond shells buff and exfoliate away the dead skin cells on removal of the mask and the lavendar and almond oils soften and smooth the surface providing nourishment. It's almost like a cleanse, exfoliate and moisturiser all in one.

I can't compare this much to the other masks available from Lush as the only other fresh one I have tried is 'Cupcake' which is specifically targetted for oily/teenage skin and draws out the excess oils, which I personally prefer to Love Lettuce, as Love Lettuce leaves behind a slight residue on the skin - lavender and almond oils are ingredients in this mask - which although they are softening agents and helps to balance natural sebum production, it wasn't a feeling that I liked being left behind, although this is a matter of personal preference.

I really enjoyed using this but I just don't think that it is something I would rush out to buy again in the near future. The number one reason for this being that I felt I had to rush to use it all up before it went out of date, as I had less than 3 weeks of use and I'd prefer a longer lasting product (although this means more chemicals and less natural ingredients) to avoid waste. This mask does work out as being good value for money, because although it costs almost £6 I did manage to get 7 uses from it and as you can see below I have covered my whole face in a thick layer [there was enough product left for an 8th use but I forgot to put it back in the fridge and it was 3 days past it's 'best before' date.. and umm.. it had gone fluffy with mould - EW!].

I would prefer to use this mask on occasions when my skin really needed a boost as the exfoliating aspect of the mask worked really, really well and my skin was glowing after using this and felt so incredibly soft and smooth. It worked very well and I did feel that there were impressive short term benefits to my skin, the only downside being, as I mentioned above, I felt like I over did it a little bit by using it so often so as not to waste it. Maybe in the future I'll have to go halves with my sister and we can both use it, or Lush should consider making smaller tubs for half the price!

But, if you're interested in a fresh and all natural ingredients face mask to give your skin a little scrub up and a radiance boost, and if you have the time to use this enough to get your money's worth out of it, then Love Lettuce is one for you!
Heyyyyy Sexy Lady!

Look out for exciting future reviews this month, including another Lush product, an amazing hair oil, a couple of gift sets, Clinique chubby stick intense, Soap & Glory skin care, my January sales haul and a new series called 'Top 3 Tuesday'.

A Great Big Box of LUSH Goodies!

Hello little cherubs. My weekend was made yesterday when a postman landed up on my doorstep with a hefty sized brown box with the words 'LUSH' plastered all over it - Yaay! My order had arrived four days earlier than expected and I couldn't wait to rip it open!

I've been wanting to have a huge splurge in Lush for a while, especially now that the Christmas stock is there (it's actually been there since about October so I've been resisting for a long time), but I held off until it was a little bit closer to Christmas and after it had been my birthday so I could use my birthday money to go all out and treat myself to some pamper bits and pieces! So, if you're an auntie or uncle of mine that put money in one of my birthday cards.. this box is from you - Thank you!

Grease Lightning Spot Treatment - £5.95
"Strikes the spot with lightning precision. Dab on this super effective tea tree and witch hazel gel to zap zits before they show themselves"

This invisible gel is packed full to the brim with every key spot fighting ingredient under the sun, including: tea tree, rosemary, aloe vera, witch hazel, grape juice, sea water, and lavender for a complementary spot fighting and skin healing action at super speed. This dinky little bottle should come in handy to quickly fight away any pesky spots that come creeping in.

Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask - £5.95
"Exfoliating face mask to give normal to oily skin a radiant glow. With polishing almond shells, softening almond oil, soothing lavender oil and the magical tightening action of Fullers Earth"

I always thought that this had lettuce in it as the main ingredient.. hence the name 'love lettuce', but lettuce is no where to be found on the ingredients list for this face mask! I've tried a sample of this before and absolutely loved it so snapped up a full sized pot with no hestiation - it's a refreshing and exfoliating face mask that really brightens the skin after use. It's just a shame that this has a 'use by' date of 30th December so I'm going to end up using this almost daily in order to not waste any of it.

H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Moisturiser - £8.95
"We all sometimes need to turn to the God of hair. A mask to improve the condition, lustre and combability of hair"

This 'god of hair masks' is to be used a pre-shampoo treatment around once a week to help out limp locks that have lost their mojo. Slap it all over dry hair, leave for twenty minutes and then rinse and shampoo and condition as usual to reveal fresh, shiny and intensely conditioned hair. This tub is full of fresh and natural ingredients so has a 'use by' time limit of three months and contains the likes of eggs, bananas, advocado, balsamic vinegar and olive oil - what a strange combination!

New Solid Shampoo Bar - £5.25
"Packed with scalp stimulating herbs and spices to pep up sluggish circulation at the root, as well as an infusion of nettle and peppermint to help slow down hair fall, New gives you shiny locks, a bit of body and a healthy, happy scalp"

I bought this for the novelty factor and also out of curiousity.. I mean, it's shampoo in solid form - that's pretty unique isn't it? I'm not too sure what to make of this or exactly how I'm going to use it, plus it smells a little bit weird but I'm looking forward to the scalp stimulation as that is supposed to increase hair growth. It contains cinnamon and rosemary, along with a nettle and peppermint infusion which is interesting. we'll see how I get on and I plan on doing a full review to help out anybody who is as curious and confused about this product as I am.

Soft Coeur Massage Bar - £4.75
"Messy fun for consenting adults everywhere. Makes the tastiest person in your life tastier still"

I didn't actually realise what this was intended to be..! I just spotted it in store, thought a creamy and beautifully smelling heart shaped bar would be a cool thing to have so just popped it into my online shopping bag without reading too much about it, but, erm, it's nicknamed 'The Honeymooner' and is supposed to be 'perfect for passionate evenings when the moment stikes' - Oo-er! I feel so dense not realising that this is a sexy product for couples haha, but The Lush Times has assured me not to worry if I'm 'flying solo this Christmas' as these are still good to use just as a moisturiser without the massage. But anyway, cocoa butter, shea butter, honey, almond oil and a chocolate centre - could there be an anymore perfect combination of ingredients? Mmmm!!

Snow Fairy Shower Gel (100g) - £3.50
Limited Edition for Christmas
"Cheering up your shower yet again with her candy floss scent and lovely pink glittering foam. Get your wings fluttering and lather up with this cutie"

This showergel is incredibly hyped up, I've never heard so many people go crazy for a showergel like this one before so I just had to see what all the fuss was about it. This Christmas limited edition showergel comes in three sizes and I got the smallest bottle because I wasn't sure if I'd like it because I've heard that is incrrrredibly sweet and some people can find it too sickly.. and unfortunately I am one of those people! One whiff of this was too much for me, the extremely strong candyfloss scent is a little bit overwhelming, but I'm hoping that it will grow on me! It is really pretty though, it's pink and very glittery - so girly.

Christmas Eve Bubble Bar - £2.95
Limited Edition for Christmas
"To calm your beating heart on the 24th December, crumble this jasmine and ylang ylang bubble bar under running taps and watch the bath turn a deep midnight blue; frothing up to create a tub full of sweet, tropical blossom bubbles"

I just couldn't resist ordering this one - I'm absolutely going to use it on Christmas Eve! It's a bit bigger than I expected it to be so I'm hoping I get more than one use out of this by breaking it up as it smells really soothing and relaxing. It was one of the cheapest bubble bars too.

Bubblebeard Reusable Bubble Bar - £4.95
Limited Edition for Christmas
"A Christmas party costume and a reusable bubble bar in one? Amazing! Swish Bubblebeard around your tub for (almost) neverending sandalwood and lavendar suds"

Another irresistable purchase! A sparkly moustache on a stick that makes bubbles for your bath again and again and again? And, who hasn't bought this bubble bar and posed with it as a faux moustache? I know I have - *hangs head in shame*. I absolutely cannot wait to use this in my next bath, this is definitely going to be the first product from this stash that I use, I'm a sucker for a novelty product.

The Melting Snowman - £1.95
Limited Edition for Christmas
"Fill up your tub with warm water before dropping in your cinnamon, clove and lime snowman as the taps are running. As he dissolves and disperses silky bath oil all around you, he fulfils his destiny and softens your skin to boot"

How cute?! Aw poor little melting snowman. This super cheap little bath melt has a classic Christmas smell and melts away in the bath softening the water with the oils that it contains and leaving skin silky smooth and nourished, all with an element of fun too.

FUN sample size - free
"FUN is a wonderful brand new invention from Lush! It's a soap, a bubble bath, a shampoo - and a toy!"

I think 'Fun' is an amazing new invention and I had had more than my fair share of time playing with it last time I was in store! It's a bit like play-doh in the way that it can be moulded and created into a different shapes, but can also be used to wash yourself too, and only the teeny tiniest piece is needed to create a mound of frothing bubbles in a tub! A little goes a long way so it's extremely good value with 200g costing just £5.00. I was very close to ordering myself some of this but then changed my mind and decided that I had enough in my basket, so imagine my delight when there was a surprise free sample size in my box! I received the yellow one which is described as 'comforting, nostalgic vanilla'.

I wasn't ever very good at art when I was in school!!

I am so happy with my great big bag/box full of new LUSH goodies and it's safe to say that I have lots of Christmas-y things to play with now and I'll be smelling extra yummy for weeks! I cannot wait for my next bath time and pamper day!

Beauty Shop in ASDA | Haul

I quite often find that the larger supermarket chains and stores are an excellent place to find well known brands at slightly cheaper prices, and I'm not just talking about food! This also includes skin care, hair care and make-up. Depending on how large the store is will depend on how extensive their range of brands is, for example, my local ASDA is pretty big but only stocks its own range: George, and also Maybelline and MaxFactor in terms of make-up, and that's as far as it goes. Whereas if I visited an ASDA in a city, such as Manchester, it is likely that its range of brands would be much wider.
I popped into my local ASDA yesterday to pick up some bits and bobs to make a special tea with (duck breast and crème brûlée anyone?!) and took a little wander into their cosmetics aisles as I knew I needed some hair dye, and typically I threw a few extra things into my basket that were more than just hair dye.

Hair Dye

Clairol Perfect 10 Nice'n Easy - This is the hair dye that I picked up and it's one that I have never used before because in the past I've always been dying my hair either red or purple and for that I've used the Live XXL range. But now my hair is ombré and needs re-doing slightly (the brown was dyed over blonde so has faded quite a bit) and I was looking for a nice and rich chocolate brown and this one works in just 10 minutes. This was £5.00 and is a permanent dye in the shade 'Medium Golden Brown'.

Shampoo & Conditioner

Dove Volume Boost Shampoo - This shampoo claims to 'help repair the surface of fine hair to improve volume'. I don't have fine hair by any means, my hair is actually ridiculously thick, but I really like the Dove range and have tried their intensive conditioning treatments which work a treat so thought I would give this one a go. It also promises to nourish dry and flat hair which is just what I need really.
Dove Pro-Age Conditioner - When I stayed at my boyfriend's house a few nights ago I told him that needed to wash my hair, but being a male he doesn't actually own any conditioner and I don't like washing without conditioning so I asked him if there would be any I could borrow from his mum or sister. He wandered off and returned from his venture with this conditioner in hand but said 'I think it's only for old people because it says 'pro age' on it so I don't know if you can use it'. Cutie! This conditioner claims it will revive fullness and strength with its lightweight formula and restore strength and volume without weighing it down. And boyyy did this conditioner live up to its promises! With just one use my hair was noticeably more volumised (is that a word?) and silky soft to the touch. I let it dry naturally and it brought out my natural waves with an extra added bounce. I was so, so impressed with this conditioner after just one use that I couldn't resist throwing it into my basket in ASDA. I nearly even bought two!
These cost £2.38 each for a 250ml (shampoo) and 200ml (conditioner) bottle.

Cotton Wool Pads

SkinSystem Cotton Wool Pads - Okay, how much can really be said about these? They're cotton wool pads, every one has them, every one needs them, they're cheap as chips and have a multitude of uses. These ones cost £1.00 for 100 pads.

Face Mask

Garnier Pure Self-Heating Sauna Mask - I'm a little bit face mask crazy at the moment (keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming Manchester haul where I stocked up on lots and lots of face masks!) and this was just £1.06 for two sachets (2x6ml) of face mask. I've used products from Garnier's skin care range before and was impressed so I'm looking forward to trying out this mask as it claims to keep skin feeling purified for up to 7 days, and even better is that it's a self-heating mask which I love - I think it's such a weird sensation when it warms and tingles on your face as you put it on.

Dry Shampoo

TRESemme Instant Refresh Waterless Foam Shampoo - One of the weirdest concepts I've ever tried out on my hair. It pumps out as a mouse and you have to rub it into the roots of your hair but doing this always makes me think of when I was in school and my way to get volume was to scrunch mouse across the top of my head and let it dry all hard and crispy - yuck! I was scared the first time that I used this incase it did actually dry hard and crispy, but thank fully it didn't. Tresemme suggests two ways of using this, one is to blast your hair off with a hairdryer after applying, one the other to let your hair dry naturally as it does leave your hair a bit wet after you put it on. I tried out both ways and both times my hair dried without a trace of product, no trace of oiliness or greasiness and also felt quite moisturised. A strange, but impressive product. This costs £4.79 in Boots but I paid £2.19 for it in ASDA - amazing.

Have you ever picked up any fantastic beauty finds in a supermarket?

Not from ASDA:

Photo Frame

Rectangle Collage Photo Frame - This isn't a beauty buy and neither is it from ASDA, but I wanted to share it with you all and it wasn't worth a post on it's own, but it's just a photoframe that I picked up from Next when I was with my mum. My mum was looking for a wedding present for somebody that she used to go to university with and she picked out a similar photoframe but in the shape of a heart, not a rectangle. When I saw the rectangle one next to it I wanted it for myself to go above my bed and I plan on filling it with all of my favourite pictures of me and the girls, and me and my boyfriend. This will be my plan for the next time I'm off work on a rainy day! The frame holds 22 2x3 sized photographs, which is smaller than the standard size photo but I would rather have lots of mini sized photos than half as many but in the larger 4x6 size. This frame cost £16.00 and the heart shaped one costs £14.00
